Here is Aiyana in her cherry dress that I made for her. Halfway through the dress I decided to alter a purse (Valentine's Day project) and add a jacket. I also did a cute little head band, and a set of bows. All in all pretty cute.

Kaitlin's Fairy Tale Pajamas
Emma's Quilt
Here is the back of Emma's quilt. I know it is hard to see, but I tried! *smile*
Above is a picture of the front of the quilt. It looks a lot like the back, but I used some moon and stars fabric through out on the front.
Above: The plain white microfiber fleece that I used.

Bean Bags
Again, technically not a sewing project, but I bleed therefore it is an automatic SEW WHAT post. These eight bean bags were made for Toby's work. (They are doing a booth for the Fourth of July and needed some bean bags for the games.) These took about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish, and I actually used rice instead of beans. I used a white Egyptian cotton (is there any other kind??? Okay so I am a cotton snob, sue me.) and photo transfer paper to transfer the logo. Because of the stiffness that the transfer adds to the cotton, turning what should have been a very easy project turned into a pretty big nightmare. However, at the end of the day all eight were completed before deadline, so yeah for me. Thanks Toby Love for all your help, I would have gone crazy without you! *smile*
Emma's Accessories
I don't know if these really count as sewing. I mean the headband was mostly finesse on Melissa's part. I did sew the headband though with the sewing machine, so technically???? The diaper cover/spankies really don't match the dress at all because the fabric is flannel, but Leah did want something super absorbent just in case there is a poop explosion. Flannel is known for it's absorbency, so that is the very long story about a pair of spankies. Melissa is working on a coordinating bracelet to match. Yeah! (not the spankies, but the dress!)
