To South America

Here are several items that I made for my Mom to take to South America. This is a pair of board shorts for Daniel. I took a close up of the pockets because I especially loved how they turned out!

Para Raul

Here is the button up shirt for Raul. I have a close up so you can see the pattern of the design. I thought this turned out exceptional

Maria and Vicky

I have been wanting to make something for my "family" in South America but I always worry about the mail, how it works, will it get there etc. So I made a few little nibblets for my Mom to take. Showcased here are two wraps skirts. One for Maria and one for Vicky. Cute huh?

Valentine's Day Ties

I made ties for the boys to go with Aiyana's dress, but forgot all about posting them. Melissa reminded me! Yeah. So here they are, of course I don't think I should have to name the models!

Process

So....how hard is the whole sewing stuff? Well here is a preview of March's outfit. We had to pin and sew on 1/8 ribbon on the collar of our shirts. Melissa pinned and I sewed. Can you believe how cool this looks. The sewing was done with two stitching lines, one on the top and one on the bottom. Centered would have been easier, but not as pretty. This pinning job was so pretty I had to take a picture and blog it.

For Ashlynn

I made this dress for a co-worker's wife. She had her baby on her actual due date. How weird is that? It was her first and to celebrate we made a dress, spankies, hair bow, and a blanket.

Aiyana's February Dress

Okay here is the Valentine' Day dress, purse, hair bows, and bracelet that we made for Aiyana. Also pictured is Miss Kaity and Aiyana in their holiday finest!

Hibiscus Dress

I love the hibiscus print on the fabric this dress is made from. I think this is going to be a wonderful dress for this summer.

Tulip Dress

I wasn't sure if I would like this dress or not but I think it turned out beautifully! I really love the cut of this dress. I may just have to make a few more dresses out of this pattern.

Kaitlin's February Dress

We finally finished the February dresses! It took us a while but we got them done. We actually had the dresses themselves finished a while ago but then we didn't get the zippers put in until last week. I'm glad we finally got them done!
