Mardi Gras Daddy Daughter Date

I don't know why the pictures are side ways on this...wish I had the time to figure it out, but I don't so..well deal already! :)  Aiyana's Mardi Gras dress was a mess. Because the Joanns here in Colorado Springs doesn't feel the need to keep fabric in stock, I had to buy what they had.  I used an old prom dress of mine for the skirt of Aiyana's dress, but didn't have enough for the bodice.  So I had to buy a fabric that matches.  It was their "wonderful" costume satin.  I hate working with it. It frayed like crazy during the entire project so I had to make several adjustments. It turned out cute, not perfect by ANY means, but cute.  There is a lot I would love to change but due to time and money, this is what I have to show.
The back of her dress with gold laces.  The bow was part of the prom dress I used.  The only part of my dress I didn't use was the bodice.
Aiyana's hair.  Not a great shot, but there are jewels and pearls in her hair.
The pretty clip I made.  I was really happy with her hair and jewlery, but the dress AHHHHHHHHH!

Alyssa's Blessing

This picture keeps flipping...I don't know why.  A good friend of mine, Morgan made Alyssa's blessing blanket.  On top of that are her socks, toe shoes, bracelet, headband, and the top of her dress.
Aiyana's hair clip that I made for her to wear.
Alyssa with her siblings on her special day.  (Yes I was very busy sewing)
The back of her dress.  (I made her dress from my wedding dress, and I don't think I could have been happier.)
The beautiful embroidery of the dress.
Alyssa's bracelet that I made for her.
A close up because she is just that cute.

Purple dress

This dress is one of the only things we kept of Aiyana's.  However it needed accessories.  A cute bracelet.  White blanket with purple ruffle, burp cloth with purple top stitching and of course some shoes and a headband.
 Close up of the shoes.
I forget to get the purple ruffle on the blanket, but it is there.

February Tutu and Toe Shoes

Melissa made the onesie for me. The blanket is this pretty Valentines print on one side with white flannel on the other, with a sweet pink ruffle to finish it off.
Her tutu has a sweet pinwheel bow on the back and the skirt was made with three different lengths of tulle (all 1" in difference).  Her shoes were pink, with a white sole, pink ribbons, and white flowers.  Her bracelet was pink, red, and white, and her headband was a simple white with pink flowers.  Very cute.
