Wow was I busy in October. Not only did me and my kids get the flu (I had a temp of 104, and Aiyana had one of 106!) but I also had all these costumes to make. Then I helped Melissa with her kids costumes, made a costume for Katrina, Libby, two for Keegan, and did a few paid projects. Whew! Busy busy! Here is my family and I all dressed from characters from Neverland.
Toby as captain Hook. This picture does not show off his beautiful purple satin pants with pretty little lavender bows. The coat is felt along with his hat. The shoes are a faux leather along with the bed.
Me as Wendy. There aren't a lot of women to choose from in Neverland so I went with Wendy. A night strolling around in flannel backed satin??? Sounds good to me. I added stretch velvet cape for warmth. This was the only picture that I had of me and Landon. He didn't want to be put down. Landon is dressed as a cute little chubby bear. I LOVED this fabric!
Landon as my lost boy bear.
Aiyana dressed as Fall Tinkerbell from: Tinkerbell and the lost treasure.
With the wings she rarely wore.
I love how her hair and make up turned out. Wish I got a shot of her looking up. This dress was a pain. I had it finished a while ago then tried it on like three days before she needed it. It was too small! (her growth hormone shot dose changed and so she hit a huge growth spurt.) so I had to put a "waist band" in the bodice. I think it turned out well. The belt is braided rafia, the hat is a peice of craft foam covered with fabric.
The pouch is filled with fairy dust (polyfil spray painted with gold glitter). The trick or treat bag is a autumn colored flower with a cute covered button detail. Boots are a faux fur trimed boot.
My peter pan and tinkerbell.
Peter pan without his hat. This costume was very easy to make and consists of the tunic, tights, belt, hat, and jacket. (We had a cold Halloween, so I made him a jacket).
Lucas as my little fox. Isn't he cute with his bow and arrow?
Micah as my lost boy rabbit. I should take a picture of the cute pads of his feet!
