Fairy Tales, Tulips, Hibiscus, and Sunflowers

Originally I made this to look as much like Kaity's as possible. Didn't exactly take the way I wanted them to. Mostly because I made them big on Aiyana so they would actually last her throughout the upcoming school year. She really loves them!

This is Aiyana in her tulip nightgown. This really wasn't very hard to do, just took a lot of time. I guess the more you use elastic the more time things take. I am wanting to get a presser foot for my machine that will pretty much do the elastic for me. Then again I want to get a presser foot that will do the hems for me. Ahhh decisions.

Moving on. On the left is a sunflower sundress that I made for Aiyana. (She might to have to wear it next summer as it is a little big on her.) I think that I may want to do a little jacket to go over it. On the right is the hibiscus print summer outfit I made. The top is a front button down, and the wrap skirt is actually a skort, and has shorts underneath it. Quite a lot of fun to photograph! *smile*
