For Baby Boy

Toby had work off yesterday for a State holiday (Pioneer Day), so he offered to let me sew all day long. Could life get any better? Okay so I didn't exactly sew all day, but I spent a good portion, sewing. This is the fruit of my labor. I did a bumper and a quilt for a darling little boy. I am very happy with how it turned out. I need to still work on a crib skirt, valance, and a sheet. (I might buy the sheet, but who knows, it all depends on the fabric.) Those will all be very easy up against these two. The problem with the bumper and the quilt is the batting. It is so fluffy and difficult to sew that you really have to take your time with every stitch to make sure that everything gets sewn properly. Then of course you have the weight of the items, trying to pull those puppies through my machine is not easy, especially with kids "helping" out. The fabric is Kona cotton and a poly blend cotton. Scroll down to see the sketches.
